Boston By Boat

A special project of Save the Harbor/Save the Bay

Water Taxis

Water Taxis are relatively small vessels which are available as an on-call service from a large number of docks around Boston Harbor. Service is typically limited to the inner Harbor, and the Logan Airport terminal is the most popular destination.

City Water Taxi is a 9-vessel fleet which serves Logan Airport, downtown Boston and numerous other Harbor destinations. Call the water taxi as you would a land taxi for service.

Rowes Wharf Water Transport is based at Rowes Wharf, and frequently brings passengers to and from Logan Airport, with other destinations available throughout the Harbor.

Boston Harbor Water Taxi operates out of East Boston with service primarily from Logan Airport to various destinations around the Harbor.
